Ban Mai Village Ministry

Ministry at Ban Mai Village started today with God opening doors for us to reach to the kids in particular through games, songs and cell group. In the evening Yoyo shared and encouraged the believers to grow in the Lord through reading the Bible, Pray and Share the word of God. The pictures below will speak better what we did and experienced today.

Growing Deeper in the Lord

Non Ta Ko village believers are growing towards maturity in their relationship with God and at the same time God is doing works and moving inside them in every ways. This week the cell group gathering was one of a kind where sharing the word of God came through Phi Phon who was one of the first believer in this village. And with the coming weeks we will be hearing the word of God and sharing's from the believers one after the other. We thank the Lord for the past two years where we have seen so much of growth in the lives of our cell-group member. Today, they are able to share the word of God and encourage one another. All these things are possible because of the prayers of believers everywhere and God is listening to all your prayers and making things happen in His time.

Please Keep Praying for us!

We will be conducting a Gospel Camp in the form of an English Camp. We have based our theme for the Camp as "Because every Life counts." Most children in the villages grow up without parental care because most of the time the parents are out there in the city earning for their livelihood and leave their children in the villages under the care of their grand-parents. Absence of the parents in the lives of the children makes them grow up feeling in-secure, fearful and sometimes feeling un-loved. So through this English camp we want to tell the truth to the children's that God made them, that they are special and that they are here for a purpose. To make it short this camp is about telling the children's that there is someone who loves and values them.

We will also be having workshops where we will be teaching the children's Thai Traditional Dance's using Gospel songs, we will also have guitar classes and drama class. And all these things will be taught by a DTS team from Lonavala, India. On the last day the children will showcase all that they have learnt for their parents to see in the form of an open air for the whole village. It will be an opportunity for us to share the gospel through the talents of these kids.

A Week that Was!

3 Days and 2 Nights at Korat Zoo was a time for the Tamar Center Korat Staffs to get closer to nature and relax at the same time spending quiet moments with God and one another. It was indeed worth a Retreat as well as the fun unlimited team building games and planning for the months ahead all came in one package.

The activities at the zoo, being so close to nature and well being treated in cozy home stay with the wild animals just a stone throw away added so much beauty and give us thoughts of how great our God was in creating every creatures.

Let the pictures below speak what we were at the past three days....Happy Easter Week ahead..

We Want To See Jesus Lifted High!

God is Good all the time and He has opened another Door for us to share His Grace and spread His message of Love at Ban Mai Village where we will be working hand in hand with the local church by teaching English, play games with the children, tell stories, and have Cell Group two/three Friday's in a month.

A surprising fact is that not even a single villager is employed in any government office, all the villagers are labourers mostly in sugarcane fields.

...Pray with us as we step- in to see God change this village.

PRAISE THE LORD!

Jha
Weaw (our staff) has a neighbor called Jha.
Jha is 20 years old she is doing her 2nd year in university. Jha is a hard working girl, though she is struggling so much she is good in her studies. She is studying to be a teacher, another 5 years and she will complete her studies.

She has no idea where her mum is, her father has a new wife.
She gets no financial help from any of her parents, she lives in a small rented house infact her cousin sister who is working in a bar in phuket has left her two sons  ( one of the boy is 15 years another is 9 years old) for Jha to take care.

THE GOOD NEWS: when weaw rented a house in Jha’s neighbourhood, weaw became her friend and her sister, so through weaw, Jha got to know the Lord, got baptized from the Local church that we attend. She started reading the word of God diligently and grew in her Love for God.
Right now she is helping the church in the worship team. God is doing more things in her life, Just recently God spoke to her about going for UDTS (University discipleship training school) a 6 months discipleship course under YWAM (youth with a Mission). But her biggest challenge is Finances  but she is willing to trust God for her needs. Keep praying for Jha, that she will grow  more in the Lord and also for her Finances.

TAMAR CENTER KORAT PRAYER REQUEST
Here are some exciting things happening and we need your prayers:
1) All of us at Tamar korat has worked hard for two years straight, with no rest!  so we feel its time we spent some time resting and seeking God, so on 27 and 28th march we will be  having a staff retreat. Pray that it will be a time where we will meet God and be filled  with new passion as we continue to serve Him.
2) Starting from April until march the schools in Thailand will be having a summer break, during this break we will be running English camp for the kids in the villages, please pray for the Camp.

Blessings
